week 5

In week 5 our lecturer Mr. Azamuddin taught us about MS Windows OS. Especially he taught us MS Windows 7.

He told us that Microsoft created the operating system Windows in 1985. The latest is Windows 7 which was released in 2009. But now we have Windows 8, too. Decrease Start Up and Shutdown times by 20 seconds, Go to Sleep and Resume faster, Use up less Memory, Pop up Search results faster, Reconnect to your Wireless Network more quickly and Recognize USB devices faster  are the main aims of the Windows 7. Then we learnt about the main elements of Windows 7.

And also we’ve learnt  Aero view, Taskbar, Search, Libraries and Gadgets which are the main elements of the Windows 7. Then we learnt additional tools, requirements in Windows 7.

Windows7 File Management, Finding Files and Folders, Types of Libraries, Using Search are the some subheadings that we’ve learnt from our lecturer during the week 5.

After that also we learned about special folders, system tools folder, disk cleaner. Application Data, Cookies, Desktop Directory, Favorites, Fonts, History and Internet Cache are some Windows special folders. Recycle bin, Control panel, Drives and Internet are virtual special folders in Windows 7. 

In this week, we learnt about the application of MS windows computer operating system. This week lessons made me realize the knowledge of MS windows, the components of MS windows and System tools and accessories of MS windows. Because of these lessons, I got to know what the MS windows is all about and the application of it. Besides, I realized the usage of MS windows nowadays the clear understanding of it. Here are some ideas about MS windows.
